Day in the Park Animation
A short animation of a taking a dog for a walk. The dog, bench, and environment were modeled in Maya, while the final composition was completed using After Effects.
This was the first project I was able to successfully rig a character model. Although the walk cycle was definitely difficult considering the model had four legs rather than two, I learned a lot about not only how dogs walk, but how to correctly add controllers to achieve the most realistic movement.
The grass was made using XGen. Because I have some previous experience with XGen, I was able to achieve the look I was going for in a short amount of time.
